Satyawati College, established in 1972 by the Government of Delhi, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Named after the esteemed freedom fighter Behen (Sister) Satyawati, granddaughter of Swami Shraddhanand, the college embodies her spirit of dedication and resilience. Behen Satyawati worked closely with leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Jayaprakash Narayan, and Sarojini Naidu, earning the nickname Toofani Behen (Stormy Sister) from Mahatma Gandhi for her zeal and determination. Satyawati College is affiliated with the University of Delhi and has been accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
