The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 is one of India’s most prestigious engineering entrance exams, conducted for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The exam will be organized by IIT Roorkee, and the official exam date is Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and consists of two compulsory papers on the same day. Each paper is 3 hours long, testing candidates on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Eligibility

To apply for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must:

• Be among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in the BE/BTech paper

• Meet age, attempt, and academic eligibility criteria.
