Established in 2018 by the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly through the Lords University, Chikani (Alwar) Act, Lords University is a self-financed private institution located in Alwar, Rajasthan. Managed by the Chachan Education & Welfare Society, the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and holds approvals from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Lords University offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines. The university comprises 11 departments, including Engineering, Management, Law, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Science, Arts and Social Sciences, Education, Special Education, Physical Education & Computer Applications and IT.
