Government Polytechnic Baripada or Government Polytechnic Mayurbhanj situated in Baripada, Mayurbhanj was established in 2015. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Technical Education Department, Odisha (ETET Odisha). The college offers diplomas in four courses in the arena of engineering stream. Admission to all of the courses is done entirely online and is solely based on the marks obtained in 10th- grade examinations. This process is overseen by ETET Odisha. There is an active placement that takes care of the placement needs of all the course pursuing students. It offers four diploma courses in the engineering stream. All the courses are full time, and details are indicated in the below table. Admission application is made entirely online, and admission to diploma courses is offered in two ways: Note: Candidates applying via lateral entry have to fill the lateral entry application form and the rest of the process is similar for them too. The placements are handled by Training and Placement Cell at Government Polytechnic Baripada. Placement Cell takes initiatives to provide industrial training and placement assistance to its students.
