IIT Cultural Meet 7.0 Commences at IIT Patna with Participation of 3,850 Students

For the first time, IIT Patna is hosting the Inter IIT Cultural Meet 7.0, a four-day event that brings together more than 3,850 students from 23 IITs nationwide. The cultural fest, running until December 29, showcases a diverse array of talents and fosters cultural exchange among the premier technical institutes of India.

The event was inaugurated by Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, who unveiled the inaugural trophy. IIT Patna's Director, Prof. T.N. Singh, welcomed the chief guest and emphasized the significance of such events in promoting creativity and preserving cultural heritage.

Deputy CM Sinha highlighted that events like these provide students with opportunities to showcase their creative talents and contribute to the promotion of the nation's cultural heritage. He also noted the government's commitment to empowering youth through various initiatives.

The cultural meet features 47 different events, including music, dance, drama, painting, writing, and folk art, providing a platform for students to exhibit their artistic skills and celebrate India's rich cultural diversity.

This cultural meet not only fosters camaraderie among IIT students but also emphasizes the importance of holistic development, encouraging participants to explore and embrace various art forms alongside their technical pursuits.
