AICTE Allows BTech and BE Degrees for Working Professionals

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) now permits technical institutes to offer BTech and BE programs to working professionals, promoting continuous education.

The AICTE has authorized affiliated technical institutions to provide Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programs aimed at working professionals. This initiative is designed to support continuous education, allowing individuals to earn engineering degrees while maintaining their employment. Institutes can offer up to three such programs, each with an intake of 30 students, facilitating skill enhancement and career advancement for professionals in the technical field
