Varun Dhaka Institute of Technology (VDIT) is located in Krishan Vihar, near Sultanpuri Bus Terminal, Rohini Sector 20, New Delhi - 110086. Established in 1999-2000 by the Rahul Dhaka Vikas Society, the institute is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi. Courses VDIT offers two full-time professional courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.): A two-year program designed to prepare students for teaching careers at secondary and senior secondary levels. Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.): A two-year program aimed at training individuals to teach at the primary level. Admission, Eligibility, and Fees Admission to both programs is based on entrance examinations. For the B.Ed. program, candidates must have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities, or 55% marks in Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics. The selection is through the IPU-CET entrance exam. For the D.El.Ed. program, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, with selection based on the SCERT entrance exam.
