Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) is a premier institution dedicated exclusively to women's education in engineering, technology, and applied sciences. Established in 1998 as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, it gained autonomy in May 2013, becoming the first women's technical university in India under the Government of Delhi.
