Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), established in 2015 is India's first pharmacy university and the third of its kind globally. Its origins trace back to 1964 with the founding of the Department of Pharmacy at Delhi Polytechnic, which evolved into the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR). DIPSAR now serves as a constituent college of DPSRU, both operating from the same campus in New Delhi.
