Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has officially announced the schedule for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026, the entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at Manipal institutes.
The exam will be conducted in two phases, giving candidates the flexibility to appear more than once and improve their scores.
Phase 1: April 13–14, 2026
Phase 2: May 23–24, 2026
The last date to apply for Phase 1 is March 15, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for Phase 2 can apply between April 21 and April 25, 2026.
The application process for MET 2026 is available online through the official website manipal.edu. The exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at designated centers.
For B.Tech admissions, the MET 2026 paper will consist of 60 questions covering the following subjects:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
English
Candidates must have completed or be appearing in Class 12 (or equivalent) with the required qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as specified by MAHE.
Students are allowed to attempt both phases, and the best score among the two attempts will be considered for admission during the counselling process.
Aspirants are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding slot booking, admit cards, and counselling schedules.
