The National Testing Agency has opened the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 correction window from February 27–28 for the April 2–9 exams. Candidates can edit personal, academic, and exam city details on the official website before the deadline.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2: Correction Window Open, April Exams from April 2–9

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the application correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, allowing candidates to make necessary changes before the April examination. The correction facility is available from February 27 to February 28, 2026, for students appearing in the April 2–9, 2026 examination.


📅 Two-Session Structure

The JEE Main 2026 is being conducted in two sessions:

  • Session 1: January 21–29, 2026

  • Session 2: April 2–9, 2026

Session 1 concluded successfully, and the final answer key was released on February 16, 2026, followed by the declaration of results in early February.


✏️ Correction Window Details

During the correction period (Feb 27–28), candidates can modify:

  • Personal details

  • Academic information

  • Examination city preferences

No further extension of the correction dates is expected, and students are advised to carefully review their application forms before the deadline.


📝 Application & Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for:

  • B.E./B.Tech

  • B.Arch

  • B.Planning

A unique feature of the 2026 application process is the requirement to upload a live photograph using a webcam, along with the standard scanned photograph.

Importantly, the best score from the two sessions will be considered for final ranking, giving candidates a second opportunity to improve their performance.
