The registration process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 has officially begun. Candidates interested in pursuing science programmes at the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) can apply online through the official portal iiseradmission.in from March 5 to April 13, 2026.

The IAT 2026 exam will be conducted on June 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The test is held for admission into 5-year BS-MS dual degree programmes and 4-year BS programmes offered by IISERs and other participating institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (or equivalent) with a science stream in 2024, 2025, or 2026 to be eligible for the IAT 2026 examination.
