Town Polytechnic, Ballia, established in 1957 by the late Murali Babu, the first Member of Parliament of Ballia, stands as the district's pioneering technical institution. The polytechnic offers three-year diploma programs in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical (Production and Automobile) Engineering, and Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice, with annual fees ranging from ?19,000 to ?26,000. The campus is equipped with essential facilities, including separate hostels for boys and girls, a well-stocked library, laboratories, computer labs, sports amenities, a cafeteria, and a training and placement cell. It maintains a commendable placement record, with numerous students securing positions in various industries.
