Established in 2010 by the Haryana Waqf Board, Mewat Engineering College (MECW) is a premier institution located in Nuh, Haryana. The college is committed to providing quality technical education, particularly to the minority community, integrating modern engineering courses with Islamic education. Affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana.
MECW offers a variety of undergraduate programs Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, each with an intake of 60 students. Vocational courses include Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Renewable Energy and Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc) in Software Development, each accommodating 30 students.
Spanning 28 acres, the MECW campus is equipped with well-equipped laboratories, high-tech computer centers with internet facilities, and spacious, airy classrooms designed to foster a conducive learning environment. A modern library housing over 35,000 books, along with journals, magazines, and digital resources, supporting the academic and research needs of students and faculty. Separate hostels for boys and girls, each providing Wi-Fi connectivity and modern amenities to ensure a comfortable living experience.
