Govt. Polytechnic Sambalpur (Rengali) was established by the Government of Odisha in 2013 with a vision of providing excellence in Technical Education through Innovation and Teamwork. The institute provides Diploma Courses in five streams across one Discipline. Companies like Mando Automobiles, Endurance Technology, BSA corporation, etc. have already conducted their campus drives for the recruitment of students into their organizations. The admissions to Diploma Courses in Odisha are a centralized process which is a merit-based process. The merit list is prepared on the based-on marks obtained in the 10th or HHSC or equivalent examination by the candidate. Odisha Diploma Counselling/Admission procedure is a web-based process and it is conducted in two rounds. Candidates whose names are there in the merit list of Odisha Diploma admission 2024 can participate in the counselling for the allotment of seats. The candidate has to choose the college with the desired course in the choice-filing step.
