Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU), located in Jind, Haryana, was established on July 24, 2014, by the State Legislature Act 28 of 2014. Initially functioning as the Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre since August 2007, it gained autonomy to become a state university. The university is recognized under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The CRSU campus spans 75 acres along the Rohtak Bypass in Jind. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science & Applications, Political Science, and Zoology. With an enrollment of approximately 10,000 students, CRSU emphasizes quality education and research.
