University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), established in 1971 in Delhi is a premier government medical institution affiliated with the University of Delhi. Founded to provide accessible medical education, UCMS has grown to become a cornerstone in healthcare education and research.

The institution is a network center for the National Brain Research Centre and serves as a nodal center for AIDS and Safdarjung Hospitals. UCMS was also the first Indian medical college to establish a Medical Humanities Group, promoting a holistic approach to medical education.
