Established in 1958, Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is a premier medical institution located in New Delhi, India. Named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a prominent freedom fighter and India's first Minister of Education, MAMC is affiliated with the University of Delhi and is operated by the Government of Delhi. MAMC has consistently been recognized for its excellence in medical education and healthcare services. In 2024, it was ranked 24th among medical colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 8th by Outlook India among government medical colleges, and 5th among all medical colleges by India Today.
